The very first Shadow Orb broken in a world will always drop a Musket and Musket Balls. I thought you needed a crystal ball to craft them. Yes you do save money instead of buying new musket balls but it is hardmode only as you need the crystal ball to make the pouch which I would find more balanced when musket balls are super easy to get. The lead anvil is used to smelt the iron ore into molten iron, which can then be poured into molds to create musket balls. With a safe and a money trough I can use all 4 slots of torches and still have room in my inventory.
